    Anemone?

When extended they are translucent, but when compacted, they have a green tint. The shape looks very similar to the club-tipped/strawberry anemones (Corynactis sp.). -Tom

    Anemone?

Here's a pic after all lights were off (flash again) The angle isn't very good, and the colors are washed out, but you can get an idea of how much bigger it gets.

    Anemone?

I've notice a few of these in my tank. I believe it's an anemone since the arms are sticky. The tenticles are green with orange bulbs at the end. The base is red, and I can see a mouth in the center. It extends at night and retracts during the day. This one was hiding under the rock until I...

Help! Tiger Cuke stuck in overflow

I could, but I would have to dissasemble the durso overflow which is kind of jammed in there. :( I'm also worried about moving it. I'm not sure what kind of tolerance these things have before evicerating themselves. That might be my only choice through. -Tom

Help! Tiger Cuke stuck in overflow

On Monday night I noticed one of my Tiger Cucumbers was stuck in my corner overflow. It looks like it scaled the tank wall and was swept into the overflow (I even have egg create covering the openings). I saw it trying to get back out, but due to the water hight difference couldn't make it...

    Computer monitoring

By "Control 20 devices", JKS1 means it uses X10 to turn on/off things like lights, pumps, fans, CO2 solenoids, UV, etc. I haven't seen anything that can electonicly measure nitrates, etc. Check aquaticeco.com they are a huge aquiculture supply house. If it exists they would have it. -Tom

How do you keep freeze dried foods from floating?

I do the same for frozen food (even flake), but freeze dried stuff is like rice crispies. No matter how long it soaks, it still floats :D -Tom:
