Hey just wonder ways to get my nitrate down I just did about a 10 gallon water change on friday and the week before that my nitrate was at like 5ppm now its at 10ppm my phosphate is 0 my nitrite is 0 my ammonia is at 0 but my nitrate seem to keep spiking after I do my changes is this normal...

Thanks you all ii really like the rock.. I have a little over 50 lbs of it in there and like 35 to 40 lbs of live sand.. the first week I had the tank set up ii went throught a massive ammonia spike then some of the brown algae then all went away.. and I am just starting to get it all back now...

Hey all I been using the blue/white filter floss in my tank and someone from a lfs Recommend that I should get bio balls put them in a mesh bag and it will save from constantly buying the floss as it seems im changing it every few days.. Anyone have any opinions on it ? RSM130D, Tunze 9002...
