Cool... I have a head of pink and green. Once the heads really start multiplying it would make a cool looking affect.

This might be a dumb question, but is it possible to combine heads of different color variations of hammer coral? Will they sting eachother, or is hammer coral immune to its own species sting? I would like to putty together 3 different color heads to make one large colony of all different colors.

I just purchased two Stomatella varia snails and I was wondering is this enough to allow for reproduction in my tank? I heard they breed like rabbits, but I wasn't sure if 2 would do it. Thoughts?

As of this morining the BTA is totally inflated and appears to be doing fine. He looks a bit beat up, but what do you expect after being inhaled into a powerhead. Thanks for the input guys.

I agree... This powerhead was very high in the tank, and I didn't think it would venture that far up in the tank. He seems to be re-inflating his tenticles now, so maybe we will make it. Is there a name for those filters, so I can modify my powerheads? Thanks for your help...

This sucks. Poor guy was not totally sucked in, but a good bit of him was within the plastic pre-filter. I was able to extricate him sucessfully. His base appears to be fine, but there were 2-3 tenticles that I had to syphon out of the tank. Can he survive this? Thanks, Mike

I can't take credit for the photo, but another reefer on another site posted this. I have one in my tank and it appears to not eat anything but algae. No one seems to know definitively what it is, so I thought I'd try here.
