I used a trickle filter in my last tank...should I go that route again?

I have enough room for a 120...but my budget may not support it.

I'm trying to create a plan now. I'm starting from scratch.

I left my 75 gallon reef tank in the home that I sold about 3 years ago. Now I am ready to jump back in with BOTH feet. I want a larger tank, maybe 90 or 120 gallons, but I need lots of advice.
