I am using t5 on my tank and the bulbs are a little overdue for a change and i am now having an algae bloom in my tank. could the bulbs have anything to do with the algae problem?

those are the ones for the money i could not be happier they are big and bulky sure but that is what you are paying for i think they give the dimensions on the auctions. but if you are on a budget go for it mine have worked flawless for the last year or so.

the powerheads are ebay specials not top of the line but they work well when you are on a budget
