im wondering what goes into a quarantine tank? chemical wise?

You do not start it with any chemicals. You just need a light, HOB filteer, toss in a powerhead or something for some flow, some PVC for fish comfort and fill with saltwater. Pretty simple. The simpler you make it the better. You only add anything to it if you are treating something. Shaun

oh ic, so youll leave a fish in quarantine for 6 weeks and winthin that six weeks if you see a break out of something, you cure it with what you need.

do you need to toss the water and start fresh with every fish?

I do regular 50% water changes in it and just keep that going unless I have treated a fish in it. If you treat a fish then when you are done you want to completely cleat it up when you are done.
