#1 - why take a chance? Some day you may find out you've become sensitized and end up seriously ill. Luck can easily run out.

As i said earlier toxins are a problem, but i wear gloves also to protect the tank, ie what have we on our hands, washing liquid greases etc, I think the tank is equally in danger from us,
I wear disposable gloves, but make sure they haven't got talc or anything on them
