my setup is not plagued with any major problems and on a very regular basis i sit in front of it and toy with the idea of tearing it down and starting over, someday soon i will

i feel your pain mattie, that sucks when a love one says something 2 you that kinda hurts.

okay so a week was not long enough to kill off everything
I put the sand in basically a mix of super fine,fine and med to fine araganite about 25lbs total basically a 1/4-1/2 deep just enough to cover the sand sifting star fish.
i have been sitting on 150lb of extra rock i was saving for setting up my next leased or customers aquarium but i guess i can use it for now. the good or bad part is it is mostly huge chunks 10-35lb rocks but they are sweet
I am hoping i have time this weekend to put the rocks back in
