How about this my son collected 2 6.5 gallon containers of ro water already salted from my local lfs for me, so i can get it heated up for a water change next week, they put the price up to £7.50! and i have just checked the salinity and it is only 1.17 not good he's now got to go and buy salt for me as i cannot drive for two weeks!! my son is not a happy bunny lol Deano

+1 ^...I would say something to the lfs about how low the SG is, that's too low IMO. It should be at least 1.023.

Yes the MP40 is great, I haven't been able to wind it up too much yet because the substrate I have is too fine, but I started to add some coarser arogonite yesterday to overcome the snow storms I was getting.

omg, that clam.

Deano, I'd now say the vortechs are over-rated, they are not hassle-free and are too expensive. I've yet to see a vortech produce a proper to-and-fro motion like the sea. A wave controller and two pumps would be a better move.
