I received the replacement membrane and DI cartridge. Installed them today and ran for awhile. Tested water and 0 TDS. YAY! I'm going to send an email to Spectrapure and let them know I received great customer service. Still don't know why it was bad out of the box but they made it right very quickly and that's all I can ask.
