My first Attempt At A Reef

Tank is only bout a month and a half old...
its a 75g aga
has bout 80lb of live rock and 60lb of live sand
1 percula clown
1 tomato clown
1 yellow tang...

bunch of hermits and snails to clean up a lil
thats all for now.. ill see how it goes...

yea there both small and dont bother each other at all...

Keep an eye on them that will probably change as they mature, especially if you end up with 2 females.

The tank looks good are you using a coralife HOT skimmer ? What do you have for lighting ? What do you plan to keep for corals ?

Skimmer is a Seaclone 100
Lighting is the Coralife Lunar Aqualight 4x65W
As for corals i really dont know what im putting in there yet...
any suggestsions..??

I would look into upgrading your skimmer.
You should give the ASM's a look.
When we first started out with a 46, we had a seaclone 100. It worked ok for about a year then just wasn't preforming up to par. We then purchased a ASM G1 and what a difference it made.

We also have a AGA RR 75.

Depending on the type of corals you want to keep, you'll need to get some MH's. With what you have now, I would start out with some hardy Mushrooms.

My friend gave me this rock...so i guess this would be my first coral i dunno what it is and sorry for the night shot ill take another pic in the morning...

Yea see i have a 55g African Cichlid tank and a 20GH planted tank... so he wanted me to start a saltwater reef... he finally got me to cave in and do it and so that rock was like a getting started gift... :)
