Nice predator tank Kyle. I remember when I had mine. I love those. My Snowflake Eel would eat from my hands. Lionfish was always my favorite though.

On a side note, reef tank looks nice and bright. What levels did you finally end up on for the whites and blues? I am at about 50% white, 70% blue.

Rockey has gotten SOOOO big!!! He was the size of a coke can when I got him. He moved all over, I kept putting him up front. Thought I lost him a couple times. Now he attached and hasnt moved in like 4 months. Hes the size of a saucer now. I feed him a whole freeze dried jumbo krill 3 times a week. Im finally doing something right, lol

Ok,,so I made a canopy for the aggressive tank using left over fake wood covered foam beams from the remodel of my hotel.

I started out with lamp shade holders, bent them to hold onto tank top.

Cut out slots in the foam board to accept the supports and the silicone adhesive

add the light fixture I had from the MT from b4 I got the LED's. I had 2 of these and 4 bulbs just doing nothing, sooooo, it was just a matter of time

So,, I re did some things. :) 1st I cut off the bends to lower the unit, I added some wood I peeled off some of the foam and glued it in a canopy fashion to the reflecting part of the old fixture. I then put silver reflective peel and stick nuclear grade duct tape on the undersides to make it more,, well,, reflective. :)

No dato head 4 me,, so I had to make a few cuts to hollow out the covers.

after I covered and tucked wires, covered all foam with wood vainer, cut reflective tape and let dry,,
