I found this litle critter about 2 weeks ago at the time he was a litle bigger than a dime, now he is 2" accross I thought he was a bubble tip at first since he was all tips at the time but since then he has developed into a flatter version resembling what I believe is possibly some form of ricordia,
The natural color appears to be a rich brown to purple but he turns bright green with rose tips under my CF lights the pics don't realy capture either color well but that shouldn't make too much difference with ID. Sorry fro the ignorance but I keep finding all these mystery critters that I never introduced myself.

I have spent some time researching this little fella and discovers some info on it, it has grown to nearly 10" accross on the last 6 months since I originally discoverd it I have a more upto date photo of it but still can't get much detail on the sub-species or much more about it than is listed here.
it is definitly a healthy eater it will eat atleast 2 small shrinp per week easily.

could be a Hairy shroom. If it is, Rhodactis rhodostoma would be my first guess. I have seen these mushrooms present with more 'enlarged' 'bubbles' on the polyp when light is not suffiecient.
