Hi all
Name here is Dave and i am located in maine
I have been lurking this board and others and have decided to call this one home. Hope y'all dont mind :)

OK , well now where do I start, I have had several FW tanks in my life and have always waited to start a reef tank.
Finally I have that chance and am currently waiting for things to come together so I can get started.
I have been looking around for tanks,and bought a 160 gallon tenecor
and an Outer Orbit light.(both used but at a very good price)...i have ordered the stand through the local shop
here in maine called Aqua Corals run by a very knowledgable Penny.
I just had a room built that will house my ham radio gear and my tank.
It will be my new most used room in the house I am sure :)

So anyways , I will post some shots when everything gets inside the house.
and a progressive timeline at each step of the way.

Guess thats it , back to reading and deciphiring all the info on the net

Tips: Use ro/di water, don't get discouraged with initial algae blooms, and go SLOOOW. Take your time adding livestock to it once it cycles.

There's plenty of room to move in.
You can have the room down the hall past the rec room.
Past the open bar.
Last room on the left.
If you need help moving your boxes in call Steve. lol

My tank is 30 inches tall and my arms are only 24 ?!?!?!?!?!

I just measured my arm (LOL!)... my arms are longer than yours. I can help you reach stuff. :invisible
