Hi All,
I just wanted to share this with folks. Frankie has many interesting hobbies and interests and one of them is making bamboo flutes. I've heard him play and he does a great job. Well, after picking his brain on how he makes them, he showed me and then last week he gave me one that he made. Its beautiful. The one he made for me is a Japanese Shakuhachi and it has a very rich and melodious tone. He stained it and even carved my name int it (in Japanese of course, and my daughter, who speaks Japanese confirmed it). Frankie has been an amazing friend and gone out of his way to help me with my 180 build. Thanks buddy, I really appreciate it. I hope I can play it as well as you can.
