Adding Garlic?

I keep reading about adding garlic to food, or soaking food in garlic before feeding. I was just wondering what this does for the fish. Is this just regular grocery store garlic just minced up and added to food? Why types of food can it be added to (for instance, can I add garlic to my frozen brine before feeding my Royal Gramma?)

I feed garlic to my fish... they love the stuff! I like to think it is a healthy addition to their diet too The LFS has liquid garlic that works for most foods but I usually use freshly pressed garlic.

I add a little pureed fresh garlic to my fish mush recipe.

i add a garlic i buy at the lfs... it's supposed to assist with appetite as well as increasing health... after all look how many great things it does for us when we eat it!

I use Kent Garlic Extreme in every feeding... Lots of tangs in my tank, so better chance of no ick!! Been good so far...

It's amazing how the fish love the garlic.. it really does increase their appetites!
