This 18" havanensis was caught (and released, thankfully) off Ft. Pierce, Fl.

You can clean them and eat them but they're a lot like Crawfish and don't have a lot of meat. That one would probably feed you. I think it's very interesting; I commercial fished for most of my life - nets, traps, and so on - never have I seen something like that.

I know those large mantis shrimps people shouldn't eat them they are brave, noble and proud shrimps who should be left alone because if you try to catch them they may go psychopathic on you so beware....
