White tang

Hi everyone,
I am Andra. I have a white tang. I get her from a baby and she turned white. Her fins are still yellow. She’s so pretty. She’s very big. 7 years old. I heard people like white tangs. First I thought she was malnourished so I bought some garlic algae for her. But she’s stays white. So I guess she just turned white

Nice fish- what do you feed it? Looks like a yellow tank that isn’t so yellow.

She was a yellow tang as a baby and over the years, she has turned white except for her top fin and bottom fin. Her tail fin is white and the little side fins are white. I feed her flakes, frozen brine shrimp and garlic algae.

Maybe try feeding her some food soaked in a marine vitamin, might help bring back the yellow. Selcon is a popular one
