What kinda tang is this..??

i think its an Atlantic Blue Tang - Acanthurus coeruleus

I also think it's an Atlantic Blue Tang. This is how they look when they go through their color change - is he about 3-4" long?

The body strucyture and eye color are similar and unless you are really familiar with tangs, they are sometimes difficult to distinguish betwween species.

Well my first thought when he said it was new was it was faded or scared.. I have seen them really light colored in the stores. I have also seen them with light spots instead of the light colored lines..

My Bad!!!!! lol

Really not your bad, there is a pinkish hue in the picture that is close to very faded, probably cyanide caught Koles, I have seen in LFS.
