I removed the gfo entirely. I have not run any gfo for about 6 weeks. I do test for phosphates and nitrates regularly. I have not a trace of either. I will only run gfo as needed. My corals have never looked better. The sps that suffered damage from over use of gfo are repairing themselves. I would suggest only running carbon and you will see an improvement. Just test for PO4 and NI and do regular water changes.

4/22- changed 6 g
4/23- changed 12 g

4/27
dkH- around 6.5-7
pH- close to 7.8-7.9
NO- 20
PO-0

Ammonia- near 0

I'll be checking Carbonate and NO for the next 3 days.

gonna keep my bio-pellets running for a second week if nothing else starts to negatively react.

I give up on the biopellet reactor....

nitrates at like 40. kH still low.

when I get my 180+ tank I'm just gonna run a separate refugium
