They have been there for a while now.
Very hardy, have lived through my tank crash and as you can see no problem with the algae.
Seem like some kind of cloves or similar.... would be nice if someone cld ID them.

It's hard to be 100% sure, but I think they are Majano Anemones. They are usually considered a problem anemone and should be removed one way or another.

@DaveK... nope not an anemone for sure, as the 8 tentacles are a fixed no. on all the polyp heads. Also base is almost an encrusting growth like gsp (here u cannot see it as its under the algae)... and these are the polyps that stick out for sunlight. Guessing primarily photosynthetic, as the polyps don't grasp onto any food.
