Great job on the pics Varga. how are your scooter blenny and 6 line doing with your tank being on the younger side, what are you feeding them?

talk about eating up some band width! Those photos are spectacular. What kind of camera do you have/are you wanting?

Very nice Varga.

I really do like what you've done with it man. I have a spot picked out in my house for an in wall. We are having a little girl in Feb so the 29 gal is all we can manage right now.

Keep up the good work.

jojo- my six line eats my homemade frozen mush

thats cool. i went to a couple of lfs today and all their 6 lines, scooter blennies and mandarins looked starved, Kim really wants a scooter or a mandarin...actually she wants both but i told her i dont think my size tank cause house both.

i may be wrong but from what i remember reading they're just like the dragonet family, surviving off eating pods

VARGA: So i have just caught up on this thread and ow i am going to build my next tank instead of buying it. So i have a few questions for you. What kinda epoxy did u you use exactly and where did u get it. What kinda plywood did u use for the secound tank and what kinda bracing did u use for the tank. Any info would be help full. Thank

Hey Duston,

Paint is a two part food grade epoxy from Benjamin Moor.

I would only recommend this type of tank if you go large and cannot find a used one cheap. anything under 180g will cost you like 500 to build when you can find a used one for super cheap, sometimes free on craigslist.

unless of course you love making things in which case just go for it, I had so much fun making this thing :D

good luck
