Tough Algae

How do you guys get the algae off that doesnt come off with the magnetic scraper cleaners?
This stuff is really tough to remove.
The razor blade was probably the demise of my hex tank
got a 55 gal reef doing well and dont wanna see it leak

Try a credit card. They also sell plastic blade scrapers.

Why? Glass tanks can easily handle a razor blade. I've used them probably thousands of times.

Glam, good call on the credit card... coralline can be a pita to get off of some stuff.. But razor blades should be fine on glass as long as you aren't using so much force?
