tomatoe clown problem

i just got a tomatoe clown last week and she is digging at the sand or i guess a better word is fanning at it and is making my tank very foggy as my sand is very fine will she stop? i am thinking on trying to catch her and take her back its driving me crazy.

That is what they do. Some more than others, but you will be hard pressed to find a clownfish that does not so something similar. Mine bites rocks, throws corals to the sandbed and has to be removed from the tank during mantaince because she bites so hard. Sometimes another clown can distract them but that can be dicey with tomato and marroon clowns as they tend to be more aggressive. Try to get a nice captive breed Ocellaris clown if you trade that one in.
