I have been calibrating my refractometer for 2 years with RO/DI water. I received some calibration fluid yesterday from BRS and calibrated it with that.

When calibrated with RO/DI water, my tank water was reading 1.026.
When calibrated with calibration fluid, my tank water is reading 1.023.

That is a huge difference! Calibration fluid is cheap and I will only be using it from now on!

It tis a good call. Brs refracto can't be calibrated to 0 now.
