Hi all, just an update on the RS mega-update.
1. I have brought back a long-outdated feature that was much-loved in our earlier years, but consistently broken due to poor software support in recent years: The media gallery is back!
-Members will be able to host their images here, paste them right into threads, share, comment, and like each others' photos, etc.
-I will probably have to tinker with some gallery size and file size limitations.
-Permissions may not be working correctly, so let me know if you're having trouble doing something.
2. I have added a "shoutbox" (i.e., real-time chatroom) feature to the site. Again, something our community lost some time ago and I'm excited to add back in. For now, it's under "Shoutbox" at the top of the page. I'll probably rename it. Also, still working on permissions and tweaks to this, but let me know what you think! This one will be on a bit of a trial basis... if it gets used (appropriately), great. If not, better to leave it out.
