thoughts on skimmer

Has anybody heard anything about this new skimmer that's coming out.it is a recirculating Beckett. I am in the market for a new skimmer and was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on this particular skimmer.

from what i've seen with recirc's its the real deal.with a real price tag too!I wish for Deltec on X-mas and B-days and dream of them at nite. A friend just modified an ASM skimmer, with mod parts ordered from ASM to recirculate and gate valve his unit. He seems really happy with it and i have seen it at work.To me seems like a good fit to a system your size, especially if your "skimmer crazy."

Yeah, I've seen the modded ASM to recirc, the owner really liked it. Basically gives the water and airbubble extra time to mix together, therefore more time for the organics to attach to the bubbles. Supposed to work well.

what sparked my interest was it is a Beckett skimmer, most recirculating skimmers are needlewheel. I was just thinking that combination of a Beckett and a recirculating skimmer would be extremely efficient.
