Tank Glass Cleaning

I purchase a 150gal tank about 8 months ago, I haven’t use it yet since I didn’t have a stand. I’m almost finished building the stand now and the people that own the tank before didn’t fill it all the way so it has a water mark about 4 inches down.
I need some help On how to clean the tank, the tank is glass.
Does any one know of a cleaner that will be able to remove this water mark
thanks

Vinegar is a pretty good cleaner for glass tanks. Buy it by the gallon at most grocery stores. Once the tank is filled with water, most of the hard water marks will go away too...Just so you know...get off what you can, but don't sweat it if it doesn't ALL want to come off...You can scratch the glass trying to get it all off, so be careful...

I don't really have anything else to add because Boomerd's advice is what I would recommend too.

Hey choard welcome to rs
if it doesnt come off with the vinegar and you really want it off you could try using a sharp flat razor
but you have to be careful with this because it can scratch the glass
i would say this is a last resort if youre more of a perfectionist
there is also a scraper from kent with a steel blade thats not sharp enough to cut skin
that may work too
good luck
