I Have Been Cleaning The Algae Off The Glass About Every 3 Days.
Kinda Greenish Brown. Nitrates Are Around 5.
Doing A 10 % Water Change Every 3 Days Too.
But All That Algae Is Leaving A Skin On The Waters Surface.
2 Powerheads Koralia Nano 265 GPM
Koralia 1 400 GPM, Fluval Submersible Cannister Filter, Lots Of Flow.
No Skimmer, Have One Just Dont Wanna Hook It Up.
What To Do About The Skin? Cant Be Good For Gas Exchange...........

Doesnt make sense not to hook the skimmer up, if you have it then it cant hurt. As for the film on the surface, point one of the powerheads at the top and it will disappear.

Use the skimmer. Also, you can use your fish net to catch the surface film. I did that for a while.
