I have 6 bags of purigen I had soaking in Ro water in the basement and forgot they were down there. It's been a month since I used them. think they are any good or should I get new ones. It's been in that same R/O water for a month. think I could just rinse well and use them or throw them out?

I believe you can refresh them with bleach, then rinse with fresh R/O water. That is probably the way to go to save money. Perhaps others will chip and it also might be worth a Google.

I've heard you can bleach them & use them again. My personal opinion is: I've got too much invested in my tank to take a chance.
I replace mine with a NEW ONE when it becomes darkened.

If it is not dark yet, keep using them. I've renewed my purigen twice without a problem. Follow the instructions. You need to have it sit in Seachem Prime in the end. That neutralize any chlorine.

I still let it flush with clean water before reuse.
