RSM 130 vs 130D?

Someone local is selling a RSM 130 for $325. How great are the 130D improvements and are they worth buying an $850 tank over a $325 used one? I'm looking to downgrade tanks, but it's mainly for the money aspect. I didn't realize these all in one tanks cost so much!

Assuming the used one is in good condition I would take that, there isn't enough upgrades on the D to make it worth it imo. The surface skimmer upgrade can be bought and used on the older model, and the D had upgraded lights originally but all replacement bulbs for the 130/130D are now the same spec. The power cord going straight out the back is a nice touch though. There are other improvements to the skimmer, hood and trim but these are very minor imo.

Save the money and use it for upgrades, everyone basically upgrades the 130D to the same level as the original 130 anyway. Save it for a 9002/Media Rack combo and spend the rest on corals!
