^ ditto. and that's one reason i decided to stay small. as a beginner, i wanted to make sure this was a hobby i'd stick with - not just a fad. so far - i'm hooked!

I've had many tanks including a 125, 37, 55, and my current 10 gal AGA. My 10 gal nano is by far the easiest to maintain / fix a problem. I have a 175 watt 20k xm 6 inches off of the water surface with a open back canopy with no heat issues. I have no fans, no skimmer, no sump. With a modded ac70 fora fuge and a penguin 550 on a manifold for circulation I never go over 80.4 on the temp. I do a 2 gal waterchange every 1-2 weeks. Total time spent on tank a week is probably 7-10 min, with 1/2 being waterchange, 1/4 being mag float time, and 1/4 being feeding my chromis. I spend less time and money on the 10 gal and it is by far the most beautiful / painless tank I've owned, so it CAN be done easily.
