I have some zoas that have developed a white thick web like substance on the old dead part of the coral... any ideas? Should a just remove the old frag? It was a piece that I have been trying to re-grow.

Possibly a sponge. If it starts to grow over top of the zoas it may have to be broke off/pealed off... But if it isnt on the zoas I would leave it.

Are you still experiencing die off on them if so fresh water dip or use a coral disinfectant on them

i have that kinda sponge , very hard grows like mat, only mashrooms are winningbattle with it
