Trying to improve my "fish photography" skills. . . .

Not easy to get these guys to pose. They don't take direction at all !

JJ, they are certainly not cooperative. I've found that the best time to get pictures is about 30 minutes after feeding. They seem to move slower for a little while.

Camera: Canon EOS 5D II
Lens: Canon EF 100mm Macro 2.8L

I think that the lens is more important than the camera in this case. All of the above photos are SOOC (straight out of camera) - no Photoshop, or any other sort of manipulation. I've got lots of room for improvement . . . .

Joey - it's probably closer to $3,500 at current prices. I've had Canon digital equipment for 10+ years. I enjoy family / travel photography.
