Plate coral

Hi all

Not sure if something is up with my plate coral or not...

Haven't seen any tentacles to be able to feed since adding him about 2-3 weeks ago. Wasn't sure if these are 'nibbles' from the Coral Beauty or if it's dying. Any help will be most welcome.

A Coral Beauty nipping at the polyps sounds about right IMO. Some people have good luck with these fish, others do not. You might have to get rid of one of them. GL.

I only ever had 1 Coral Beauty; And he was an asshole. When I upgraded the tank he was the first tenant to be evicted. He resides in a friends 600g now.

Coral Beauty's.....My wife wants one. told her HECK NO! when i started pointing to things in my tank it would likely eat, she decided to drop it.

Thanks for the responses guys, seems like my Coral Beauty's days may well be numbered in my tank. Gutted, because it's such a beautiful fish.
