PC's on SPS?

I dont want to be the bearer of bad news but....that lighting system probably wont work for SPS. MOST SPS corals need aot of light. If you go with that lighting systemyou will be very limited with what you can keep. There are a few SPS corals that may do OK under that sytem if put very close to the top, but even then you would not see the growth rates that they are capable of.
If you cannot go with MH I would suggest a multiple bulb T5 system. I have seen many tanks that are SPS dominated that use T5 units.
Again, Im not trying to upset you, I just want to tell you what will and wont work.-Michael

yeah most sps no but montipora digitata, monitpora capricornus and some other deep water sps will ok. most though need much more light. T5's or MH much better. MH sps perfect.

You could also look into VHO's. There are many successfully running both VHO's or T5's with SPS tanks, and they would be more cost effective than the halides.
