Painting the backside of tank

Here is my one week old tank. Just added the rock yesterday. Put about 80lbs of liverock and 40lbs of baserock. Gotta get more smaller pieces for fillin and to cover up the base rock until it changes color. My questions is....
Would you paint the outside back of the tank and if so what color? I'm leaning toward black. I plan on having reef and fish.

I think a tank looks nicer with the back wall painted. I'd go with either dark blue or black. Since your tank is already up I'd definatley roll it on.

doni (woodstock) just painted the back of her tank a while back ask her if you have any questions, i think she painted hers a dark blue.

I always use black latex paint.

Nice start, looking great. I painted my 55g black with spray paint before I set it up. I am moving to a 90g and will do the same, it makes the tank look deeper and cleaner also brings out the color in everything else.
