mushrooms....annoying

does anyone have any good ideas on how to kill mushrooms that are taking over the tank with out removing the live rock

You can get under them and cut them off the rock. I've also shaded or covered mine to slow down the growth. Good luck!

You could try to scrape them off and sell them to your lfs

Yea! or see if the LFS will swap out some LR with you, plus give you store credit.

i'd just trade it into the LFS for LR and get store credit......or.....ya can send me a rock or 2 of them lol

Thank you for all the responses I really didn't want to take out the rock bc I just got it how I wanted it but looks like that's what I'm gonna have to do....and I don't think you would want these mushrooms they are like a nasty brown color

lol its ok shipping would be a nightmare on it lol look at it this way ya should be able to get even better looking rock for them
