Mushroom Id?

I was sold this as a Bullseye Mushroom. But after posting on another thread, I was told it is not. Anyone have any ideas what it is? Or where I could research? Thanks!

THat is by far, the most bizarre mushroom I have ever seen. Did you buy it locally in Jacksonville? No help on the ID, but a cool mushroom indeed...

I got it from Roes Marine World.
I've had it for about 6 months and always just assumed it was a Bullseye as advertised. It is a very slow grower and has a small baby you can see on the right side.

I looked in Borneman's book "Aquarium Corals" and on page 205, you will see Discosoma sanctithomae. I believe this is what you have, or a variety there of. Eric Borneman refers to it also as bubble or warty mushroom.

Hope that helps!

Apparantly also known as Rhodactis sanctithomae (fickle scientists...)

Although, the picture doesn't look much like yours. In fact, I couldn't find anything on the net that resembles your shroom (And I don't have the Borneman book). Cool stuff, good work Nikki...

Hahahahaha
It really is one of my favorite things. I wish I had bought more when I had the chance!
And here I thought $14 was too much for one mushroom! LOL
