See you over there if still have drop outs, but its sounds like router drop outs rather than ProfiLux. possible interference, low range, etc etc.

I think I would send that Profilux back to the "Fatherland"....and buy yourself an Apex. I know it is not a Ferrari....but the Apex I have is working great. If you are four feet away computer to controller.....buy yourself a ethernet cable and call it done....and dont mess with wireless. I have a 15 ft ethernet cable to a switch off of my network. It has not dropped once since I installed it. If you are talking with the Profilux folks... get them to reconfigure your network settings to run off of ethernet.

Someone else had mentioned interference... Yes... that is something that could be happening. A lot of things interfere with 802.11 wireless signals. If you have any kind of device nearby it could be stepping on the signal....even four feet away.... which again... if the wireless is not reliable.. I would ditch it and hardwire it to your network.

Ill tell u what's killing me. After so many issues early on everytime I think of the controller now I stress out. Its not fun or entertaining. Plus apex is on back order. I checked.

More apexers. I just can't see losing the money I have invested in the profilux so I'm sticking it out. Maybe thru this process we can get them to add a cd-rom with the control.

Matt, is it possible to get a refund? I know the controller is the Ferrari of controllers and I would have consider it also if I didn't have one yet, but what I'm seeing is a lack of info around the net for this device, were Apex you can find everything around pretty quickly.

Matt - Does the Profilux have an ethernet jack on it? Is it ethernet enabled? That would be the first thing I would do. Get yourself situated and then worry about wireless later. Why add another variable to the mix. If you stay with the Profilux get them to help you to reconfigure it with ethernet and hardwire it. Then....in the future if you want to go wireless...then you can after everything is sorted out. Right now...it could be the controller, it could be the bridge... it could be the neighbor kid watching porn on his xbox... Take out as many unnessecary variables... get your controller, lights....and stuff situated. Then you can add capability in.

As for the Avitar... That guy cracks me up! My wife said she wishes I looked that good!!! LOL! Valentines Day is just around the corner.... hmmm.... paybacks are a @#$%^. :ignore:

The profilux has ethernet and I appologize I have been out of pocket for a week or so so havent read up to catch up on the thread. Whats the issue Matt? We can either fix it or if you decide its time to cut bait try and help come up with a game plan.

Haha. Funny dude. I'm gunna hard wire once the stinking room is ready. It's in limbo now tho since its in another room. Tomorrow I get some time to myself to work on the room. Amys taking the kids to her moms. I took the bye. Ill get more serious when I don't need a long Ethernet cord running around the room thru the door.
