In you'lls opinion, what is the time length to safely keep makeup water before doing a water change??

not saying its the right answer but i mix mine and then typically leave it until the little bubbles that form go away, typically about a day. I also have pumps that circulate the water in my 35 gallon brute during that whole time.

Indefinitely as long as you keep it well aerated.

I have found that RC needs at least 48 hours to really equalize and give decent PH reading, and 3-4 days even better.
