Macro pics (first time)

Have a Canon Reble Xsi and just got the 100mm macro for my b-day.

Lots of fun and am working on bracketing and testing what looks best. My next project will probably be the white balance adjusting, but is there anything else that would help get the colors right?? I have tried adjusting F, iso, av, different modes, flash on and flash off. Have lots of pics (these are the ones that were the least embarrassing). Still have some playing to do!

Suggestions and comments would be great and helpful (still kinda new at this).

if you are using a tripod and still getting blurry pics it is from you hitting the shutter.use the 2sec self timer to get them sharp. also bump your iso to 800 even 1600 for some decent shutter speeds, and your aperture to f/8. manually focusing works wonders using mirror lock up at 10x

^ Thanks marinemaniac.
It has been awhile now and have started using the P and M functions as well as the mirror lock too. Getting better. :)
