Lighting?

OK im gonna attempt my diy Lighting setup and wanted some suggestions. So here we go

1st off tank dimensions 24"l x 17"w x 24"d = 40g

so my plans are this

workhorse 7 = 220w

4x 55w pc 2 x 10k and 2 x 03

will this ballast hold these bulbs since im attempting to take it to the max? or should i go 2 x 10k and 1 x 03, if I go with a 3 bulb setup they will be 65w, these will be 21" bulbs

will this be enough light for the tank for lps and softies? What would the best setup be here? 3 bulbs? or the 4 bulb set up?

I have 2-96 watters on my WH7...and they work great...i wouldn't worry about pushing them.

Yes it will be fine for LPS and softies and if it weren't for the depth I would say some SPS.

could i put the sps up high? like mid to top?

Yes you could and it would work you're just not going to get the color you would get with Metal Halides.

i dont know about where you live but that would cost way more then just a single 250watt MH where i come from. I would seriously look into that option. Better colour, keep anything and less wiring
