InLimbo87's 90 Gallon Piece of Ocean

Welcome all to my 90 gallon journal! For years I've kept various nano tanks (biocube 14 and 29, oceanic 33 cube), and I've finally taken the leap into a larger tank. So far, I've found it easier and more forgiving than my nanos. It has been setup for a few months now after I cycled for nearly 3 months.

About the setup:
  • 90 gallon RR
  • Lighting - 4 x 54w T5, overdriven with 2 IceCap 430. 2 x Blue+, 1 x Purple+, and 1 Aquablue
  • Filtration - 29 gallon sump/refugium with SWC MSX160 skimmer, QuietOne 3000 return
  • Flow - 3 x Koralia Evolution 1400
  • ReefKeeper Lite for control, JBJ ATO

Livestock:
Various corals - mostly LPS
Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish
Pink Tail Triggerfish
Black Ocellaris pair
Bangaii Cardinal

Will do! I've been surprised by his voracious eating so far, I have a feeling he won't be so "dwarf" for long :)

I was expecting a timid eater, but as soon as I get near the tank he comes up to greet me. Makes rearranging a fun task.

That is a sweet tank. Really cool that you can keep a lion in a reef. Guess you dont want to forget a feeding there. Following along, Shaun
