Help ID this black something that seems to be very mobile already.

It looks sort of like a thick black worm with projections all over its body. My six-line is very interested and has been picking on it every since it noticed it. Is this a good or bad thing to have in my tank.

I have read mixed things about cucumbers. Any recommendations?

I think I will probably not keep him in there. I know the risk is probably not that great, but I would rather not worry about it. Thanks for the help!

I love my cucumber. He eats everything my other cuc doesn't eat. I'm thinking about getting another

@jroberts, don't kill it, if you get rid of it call around to your lfs to see who would take it.
@Noaconstrictor, how big is your tank and how long have you had the cucumber. I've considered getting one.

It's a 46 gal bow front. I've had it for almost a year now. He was one of the first things I added and went threw 3 rockscapes and a move. Seems very hardy. Never had any problems with it
