Hello all!
I am new to the forum scene, but not new to the hobby. Ive had an aquariums most of my life, but had a salt only 3 yrs. I have a few questions about the aqua medic protein skimmer I purchased last year when I thought my red sea had stopped working. Well now I'm setting up my new 125g reef and going to set-up the aquamedic 1000 skimmer and finding that it is quite an odd set-up. Does anyone have this skimmer? and if so how is it running, (in sump, or stand alone).
