Hello everyone,

I have come across a Sailfin Tang about 5" and I was wondering if I could add it to the mix below. The 2 Yellow Tangs fought at first but now everyone gets along for the most part. Does anyone have any knowledge on Sailfins and their ability to get along in groups similar to this setup?? Any help would be better than relying on the person who currently sells me fish.

I have a 300 gal. reef tank (9 months old) 8'X2.5'X3' approx
(nothing has died in 3 months ....confidence building)
300lbs liverock
2 Haw. Yellow Tangs 5" and 4"
1 Vampire Tang 5"
2 foxface 4"
ton of gobies
7 blue chromis
3 zebra damsels 1"

lots of corals (hard and soft)

I think you should be ok as long as there are plenty of hiding places for the sailfin. Good luck! And yes we need pictures, lol

Most of us use photobucket. Just upload the pic there and then copy the IMG code into your post and it will show up.

Very nice tank! For a minute I thought you had a grouper in there! Then I realized it was a background LOL!
