do you mean is the clown being hosted by the star polyp? if so the answer is yes they will take to various things, mushrooms, xenia, rock, sand, powerhead etc.
Mine switch around hosting things. The girl has been in the Maiden's hair, feather duster, leather, and xenia. The boy has been in the anemone and xenia. He doesn't change around as much.
I just couldnt believe my eyes.... Clowns have been in my tank for over 2 yrs and GSP almost a year and all of a sudden. The clowns have never paid any attention to any coral or anything else.
