Green Star lighting Qustion

I had a quick question is it possible to grow green star polyps under florescent lighting, I know they prefer decent lighting but I am interested in putting them on the wall of my fish only tank to give it some character. Thanks!

Mine grew good yrs ago under 2x24w T5HO at about 15" depth.

You can gro GSP under almost any light. If you want them on the wall of the tank, you may need more that 1 or two bulbs, but try it that way first.

May as well get ready for adding some upgraded lighting because you will get bitten by the coral bug and WANT MORE than GSP really soon. Just sayin'

Yes they will grow under almost any light, but the more intense the light the faster it will grow. Florescent lighting might be the best choice for you so it won't grow too fast and take over.

Like Diana warned, once you start with coral it's difficult to stop.

Haha yea thats why I have my nano reef right next to it im already covered lol
