grassy algae problem

Hi all. I have an algae that I have not seen before. It was a hitchiker on some coral I bought. I have no algae eating fish in my tank to take care of this particular algae. It is not hair algae. It is a green sort of grasslike algae that does not seem to grow tall but does tend to collect debris. It is growing among my corals where there is bare space. It is not everywhere yet but I have a bad feeling. It is impossible to pull up because it is so firmly attached to whatever it is growing on. It is even growing on my koralia pumps and can't be scrubbed off - believe me, I have tried. I have a substantial cuc but no one seems to eat this algae. I would like to control the algae without resorting to a tang (70 gal tank). Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
